Hyattsville Man Fatally Shot in Prince George’s County Apartment

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD — Police reported the fatal shooting of a Hyattsville man in Prince George’s County early Saturday morning.

Officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to a shooting at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the 5800 block of Timber Creek Terrace. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old David Johnson inside an apartment building with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the incident to determine a motive and identify any suspects. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the PGPD at (301) 516-2512. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment of those responsible.
