NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Ice skating is back in downtown New Brunswick as part of the city’s holiday festivities, offering locals and visitors a chance to enjoy the winter season with a spin on a synthetic ice rink.

The rink will open for the second consecutive year on Thursday, December 5, with skating available from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The festivities will continue on Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day. Pre-registration is required, and skate rentals cost $10 for a 30-minute session.

The synthetic surface rink, located in the heart of New Brunswick City Center, has become a popular addition to the city’s Winter Wonderland lineup, providing an outdoor activity for families, friends, and holiday revelers.

Skaters are encouraged to secure their spots online by registering through the event’s official link. The holiday atmosphere in New Brunswick promises to offer even more seasonal delights, including musical performances, tree lightings, and other festive events throughout December.

Downtown New Brunswick welcomes skaters back for a weekend of holiday fun on the ice.
