HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – The Westmoreland County Detective Bureau is investigating the death of an inmate at Westmoreland County Prison.
The deceased was discovered on the morning of Thursday.
Alongside the deceased inmate, three other inmates required evaluation and treatment at a nearby hospital but have since returned to the prison.
The Westmoreland County Coroner’s Office is supporting the ongoing investigation.
