ISLIP TERRACE, NY – Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney today reported the guilty plea of Darieo St. Leger, 34, from Islip Terrace, for a first-degree assault committed in October 2022. St. Leger attacked a bouncer with a sharp object at a Huntington bar, causing permanent and severe injuries.

The incident occurred on October 23, 2022, around 12:40 a.m., following a dispute about entry to the bar. St. Leger slashed the bouncer’s face, severing an artery in the victim’s cheek. On November 28, 2023, he pleaded guilty before Acting Supreme Court Justice Anthony S. Senft, Jr. to a Class B violent felony. He is represented by Jonathan B. Manley, Esq. and is scheduled for sentencing on January 30, 2024.
