SOMERVILLE, N.J. – Former New Jersey Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli delivered a sharp critique of his political rivals in a social media post Friday, accusing unnamed candidates of corruption, hypocrisy, and prioritizing personal gain over public service.

In a message titled “Integrity Matters,” Ciattarelli argued that New Jersey voters deserve honest leadership and transparency from those seeking elected office.

“Her entire campaign is based on a stack of lies about me, her disdain for the President, and she can fly a helicopter, none of which is going to fix New Jersey. You alluded to something before that’s been a real turn off for New Jersey,” Ciattarelli said while being interview by Benny Johnson. “There’s been some revelations that speak to character and integrity here. She was caught up in the cheating scandal at the Naval Academy, wasn’t allowed to walk. She was punished pretty severely there, only six years in Congress, and somehow tripled her networth, but can’t explain how. Federal law on stock trade, stock reporting. New York Times reports was trading defense stocks while sitting on the House Arm Services Committee.”

The Republican former gubernatorial candidate framed his remarks as a call for accountability and ethics in state politics.

Ciattarelli’s post targets political ethics

He went on to accuse some public officials of tripling their wealth during their tenure while holding positions on defense-related committees and trading defense stocks.

‘Character matters’ message resonates with voters

“Character matters. Integrity matters,” Ciattarelli emphasized in the post, arguing that New Jersey residents face mounting financial challenges while political leaders focus on self-interest.

Framing the upcoming election as a choice

Ciattarelli concluded his remarks with a pointed question to voters: “Do we want someone who fights for New Jersey families, or someone who fights for their own bank account?”

The post reflects Ciattarelli’s continued positioning as a voice for fiscal responsibility and ethical governance ahead of the next election season in New Jersey.
