JACKSON-The Lakehurst Police Department today thanked the Flemming family of Jackson Township, including Marty Flemming, Jr and his brother Timothy Flemming who operate a business in that town.
The Flemming family are the owners of County Line Hardware in Jackson and Lakehurst Hardware and Lawn Mower in Lakehurst and were commended by the Lakehurst Police Department today for his donation of PPE eyewear to the Lakehurst Police Department.
“The Lakehurst Police Department would like to personally thank Marty Flemming and the entire Flemming family, owners of Lakehurst Hardware & Lawn Mower, the department said. “Marty donated multiple pairs of protective eyewear for our Officers to wear as an added form of protection throughout the current Covid-19 pandemic. We would like to thank you and the entire staff at Lakehurst Hardware and Lawnmower for your generosity and thoughts during these times.”
Flemming’s father Marty, who runs the Jackson store, which has been operating in the township for over 100 years now, also serves as a councilman in Jackson Township, replacing the seat abandoned by former Councilman Robert Nixon. Each year the Flemming family also hosts the St. Baldrick’s Foundation charity fundraising event in Jackson Township.
