Jackson Candidate Calls for Bullet Vote in Tuesday Election

JACKSON, NJ – As the feud between the supporters of lifelong Democrat Hope Drew battle online against the team of husband and wife Eric and Elenor Hannu, Drew is now pleading with voters to cast a ‘bullet vote’ for her on Tuesday.

Previously, the two campaigns appeared to be united, with calls to vote for Drew, Hannum, and Hannum, leaving Hannum’s running mate, Amanda Trombetta, in the cold.

In recent days, Trombetta has appeared to distance herself from the campaign, posting online for votes for her on Tuesday.

“Please, if you have not voted yet, you do not have to vote for all three,” Drew said. “It betters my chances if you just vote for one, me.”

A text message went out to voters in Friday, apparently paid for by Trombetta’s campaign.

“Don’t believe Hope’s lies; Amanda Trombetta is fighting for all residents, not just ‘her side of town,'” the message stated.

In recent weeks, Drew, a resident of Brookwood, organized early on with Tzvi Herman, a former Jackson planning board member who is also an editor and content curator for the Orthodox Jewish magazine, The Jackson Pulse.

According to statements Herman made to various community leaders, Drew was seen as the only viable candidate who was ‘workable’ for the Orthodox Jewish community in Jackson.

While the infighting between non-Republican-endorsed factions heats up, the Jackson GOP’s Column L team continues receiving endorsements, including three GOP candidates for governor: Bill Spadea, Ed Durr, and Jack Ciattarelli. The Column L Team has also touted itself as the “Trump” team, securing endorsements from U.S. Congressman Chris Smith and multiple state and county elected Republicans.
