Jackson, NJJackson – The Jackson School District has officially released its 2026–2027 academic calendar, outlining the full schedule of school days, holidays, and breaks for students and teachers. The new year will begin right after Labor Day and include several scheduled shortened days, state holidays, and mid-year breaks for staff development and conferences.

The school year begins on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, when all students report for the first day of class. Staff will return earlier, on September 1–2, for preparation days. The calendar provides 180 instructional days for students and 184 workdays for teachers.

The school year will conclude for students on Friday, June 18, 2027, while teachers will remain for an in-service day through June 21, unless additional days are added.
