SANTA CLARA, CA – On 11/29/2021, The Santa Clara County Superior Court sentenced defendant Joseph Houg to 35 years in prison for felony Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Minor under 14, and several counts of Annoying and Molesting a Minor under 14.Sheriff Laurie Smith would like to commend the Sexual Assault Investigations Unit (SAIU) Detectives for their diligent work on this investigation. Our hearts go out to the victims in this case, and we take solace knowing the community will be safer now that Joseph Houg is in prison.
