Juvenile Arrested for Killing Woman While Stealing Car

COLUMBUS, OH — The Columbus Division of Police announced the arrest of a juvenile in connection with the homicide of Alexa Stakely.

The juvenile, accompanied by his parents, voluntarily came to Columbus Police Headquarters, where he admitted to stealing a vehicle and striking Stakely with her car, resulting in her death.

He has been charged with murder.

Detectives expressed gratitude for the public’s assistance in the case but are still working to identify two additional suspects involved in the incident. Authorities urge these suspects to come forward and take responsibility for their actions.
