BALTIMORE, Md. — A 17-year-old male was arrested on handgun charges during an investigation by the Baltimore Police Department’s Southwest District Action Team. The arrest took place on the evening of August 31 on the 500 block of Loudon Avenue.

According to police, the arrest occurred around 7:30 p.m. as detectives were conducting an investigation in the area. The juvenile was found to be in possession of two handguns along with ammunition.

The suspect was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility for processing. The circumstances leading to the investigation and arrest were not disclosed by the authorities.
