Kamala Harris Launches Tirade Against Hate-Fueled Pro-Hamas Protests in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Vice President Kamala Harris has something to say about Wendesday’s violent protest in Washington D.C. against Israel. That protest led to attacks against police officers, the burning of American flags and the raising of Palestinian flags high above the nation’s capitol.

Earlier in the day, left-wing protesters stormed a building on Capitol Hill and were forcibly removed from the building.

Monuments were also defaced with pro-Hamas grafitti and threats to Jews and Americans.

Union Station witnessed acts of vandalism and hate-fueled rhetoric during a protest, Harris said.

Participants associated with the terrorist organization Hamas, known for its violent opposition to the State of Israel and its call for the annihilation of Jews, displayed pro-Hamas graffiti and rhetoric.

Yesterday, at Union Station in Washington, D.C. we saw despicable acts by unpatriotic protestors and dangerous hate-fueled rhetoric.

I condemn any individuals associating with the brutal terrorist organization Hamas, which has vowed to annihilate the State of Israel and kill Jews. Pro-Hamas graffiti and rhetoric is abhorrent and we must not tolerate it in our nation.

I condemn the burning of the American flag. That flag is a symbol of our highest ideals as a nation and represents the promise of America. It should never be desecrated in that way.

I support the right to peacefully protest, but let’s be clear: Antisemitism, hate and violence of any kind have no place in our nation.

-Vice President Kamala Harris

These actions, including the burning of the American flag, have been widely condemned. The flag, a symbol of America’s highest ideals and promise, was desecrated in a manner that has sparked outrage.

While the right to peacefully protest is supported, it is imperative to note that antisemitism, hate, and violence of any kind are unacceptable in the United States.

Sitting President Joe Biden did not comment on the violent anti-American protest.
