LACEY, NJ – It’s not sure whether a masked criminal was wearing a mask to conceal his identity or whether it was his attempt at proper social distancing, but Lacey Police reported he broken into the local 7-11 and demanded money, smashing the glass counter in the store.

Robbery- On Saturday, April 11, 2020, at 9:59 p.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven, 524 Lacey Rd, for a report of a robbery. The employee reported that a white male wearing a mask had entered the store and demanded money from the register. The male displayed a hammer and smashed out the glass portion of the countertop. He then reached over the countertop, grabbing the cash register drawer prior to running from the store.
