Laurel Home Damaged in Overnight Shooting

LAUREL, MD — An early morning shooting in Laurel has left a home damaged but, fortunately, no injuries were reported. Anne Arundel County Police were called to the 3500 block of Serene Court around 2:55 a.m. on March 16, following reports of gunfire in the area.

Upon arrival, officers discovered damage to a residence, consistent with bullet impacts, and found numerous shell casings in the street near the intersection of Serene Court and Forest Bridge Court. Despite immediate efforts to locate any suspects, none were found at the time.

Western District detectives are actively investigating the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward. Community members with knowledge of the shooting or any related suspicious activity are encouraged to contact the Anne Arundel County Police at 410-222-3155 or to anonymously submit tips via the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
