Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” has raised more than a few eyebrows after slamming Moderna CEO Stephane Bancel, claiming Bancel is pushing COVID-19 vaccines simply to enhance his company’s bottom line.
“The guy who stands to gain millions of dollars from new vaccines, says we need new vaccines… I don’t think he’s the most objective source,” Noah said this week.
“On the one hand all of the omicron cases have been mild so far, but on the other hand, a guy who stands to gain millions of dollars from new vaccines says we need new vaccines,” Noah said.
Noah who echoed the sentiment being branded by the left and the media as anti-vaxxer and misinformation was not fact-checked or censored by social media platforms. Instead, his progressive liberal following cheered his observation.
Many of his followers scolded Noah for regurgitating far-right anti-vaccination rhetoric.
