Lieutenant Andrew Goldberg Retires After Over 25 Years of Service

MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Marlboro Township Police Department is celebrating the retirement of Lieutenant Andrew Goldberg, marking the conclusion of his distinguished 25-plus years of service to the community. Lt. Goldberg’s law enforcement career began in 2001 when he joined the department as a patrolman, after initially serving as a police dispatcher in the Communications Bureau.

Throughout his tenure, Lt. Goldberg dedicated himself to various critical roles, including serving as an Explorer Post Advisor, directing the Police Youth Academy, and instructing as a Firearms Instructor. His commitment extended beyond these roles as he supervised the Police Bicycle Unit and contributed as a valuable member of both the Marlboro Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Monmouth County Emergency Response Team (MOCERT).

The Marlboro Township Police Department extends its heartfelt congratulations to Lt. Goldberg on his retirement, wishing him a future filled with health and happiness. His significant contributions and unwavering commitment to the safety and education of the community have left a lasting impact.
