$1M a year for life jackpot hits in Ohio as new game gains momentum
Trenton, NJ — A lottery drawing has produced a life-changing prize after one ticket in Ohio matched all numbers to win $1 million a year for life in the multi-state Millionaire for Life game.
The winning numbers for the Monday, April 27 drawing were 04, 15, 19, 21, and 31, with the Millionaire Ball 04. The top prize is paid as $1 million annually for life or a lump sum cash option of $18 million.
Lottery officials confirmed the win marks a major milestone for the relatively new game, which launched earlier this year across more than 30 states, including New Jersey.
The game also offers a second-tier prize of $100,000 a year for life, along with several lower-tier cash prizes.
Drawings are held daily at 11:15 p.m., with tickets priced at $5 per play. The overall odds of winning any prize are approximately 1 in 8.47.
New Jersey Lottery officials said the game continues to attract players across the state as part of a broader multi-state collaboration.
