Life changing Lottery ticket sold at Bucks County GIANT

A winning Pennsylvania Lottery Scratch-Off sold in Warminster Township comes with a choice between lifetime payments or a $3.2 million cash option

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player who purchased a Scratch-Off ticket in Bucks County is holding a prize that could pay $20,000 a month for life or be claimed as a $3.2 million cash option.

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a winning $20,000 a Month for Life Scratch-Off ticket was sold at GIANT, located at 720 West Street Road in Warminster Township.

The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The $20,000 a Month for Life game is a $10 Scratch-Off that offers top-prize winners a choice between receiving $20,000 every month for life or taking a one-time cash option of $3.2 million, less applicable withholding.

Lottery officials noted that Scratch-Off tickets are distributed randomly, meaning neither the Pennsylvania Lottery nor its retailers know where winning tickets will be sold before they are claimed.

The Lottery learns the location of winning ticket sales only after a prize has been claimed.

Officials also reminded players that Scratch-Off prizes expire one year after the game’s end-sale date posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery website.

Winners are encouraged to immediately sign the back of their tickets and contact the Pennsylvania Lottery for instructions on claiming their prize.

All Pennsylvania Lottery prizes exceeding $5,000 are subject to applicable withholding requirements.
