Linden Police Investigating Serious Crash

Linden, NJ — Early this morning, a serious motor vehicle accident occurred involving a 2019 BMW on S. Park Avenue.

At approximately 3:40 AM, Linden Police officers responded to the 1400 block of S. Park Ave following reports of the crash. The BMW was traveling north when the driver lost control and collided with a utility pole. Both occupants, women from Roselle aged 38 and 39, sustained serious injuries and were transported to Newark University Hospital for treatment.

Currently, the northbound lane of S. Park Ave between Brunswick Ave and Bedle Pl is closed to facilitate utility repairs.

The Linden Police Traffic Bureau is actively investigating the incident. Investigator Marco Abrantes can be contacted at (908) 474-8505 if anyone has information.
