LINDEN, NJ – Sandra Fils, a 41-year-old Linden resident, faces multiple charges following an apartment fire that occurred over the weekend.
Linden Police and Fire Departments responded to the incident at 10 N. Wood Ave, where a fire on the 4th floor was reported around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday. Firefighters extinguished the blaze after more than an hour of efforts.
Investigations revealed that Fils set the fire intentionally after an altercation with her roommate.
She is charged with second-degree aggravated arson, third-degree aggravated assault, and related charges.
Fils remains in custody, awaiting her Superior Court appearance.
