Liquor store ticket delivers big win in Windsor

WINDSOR, Conn. — A Connecticut Lottery player from Windsor has claimed a $33,256 progressive jackpot prize after purchasing a $5 Stacks of Ca$h FAST PLAY ticket, according to lottery records confirmed on June 23.

Vanessa C. bought the winning ticket at Bloom’s Discount Liquor in Windsor. The Stacks of Ca$h game features a progressive prize pool that increases with every ticket sold statewide until it is won.

The $5 FAST PLAY game is part of the Connecticut Lottery’s instant-style draw series, offering players the chance to win large prizes without waiting for a drawing. Tickets print with randomly generated numbers and symbols, with winnings determined at the time of purchase.

As of Tuesday, the Connecticut Lottery had not released additional details regarding the winner’s plans or whether the full jackpot amount was the top available prize at the time.
