Lorain resident hits $100K jackpot on Winter Fun ticket

LORAIN, OH — A Lorain resident has an extra reason to celebrate this holiday season after winning $100,000 on the Ohio Lottery’s Winter Fun scratch-off game.

The winning ticket was purchased at Lorain Convenient Food Mart, located at 2221 42nd Street. After taxes, which total 28 percent, the winner will take home roughly $72,000.

Winter Fun is a $10 scratch-off game that offers a top prize of $500,000. As of November 25, two of the top prizes remain unclaimed.

The Ohio Lottery continues to promote its range of seasonal scratch-off games as the holidays approach, with Winter Fun among the most popular choices.
