Louisville Woman Wins $40,000 in Mega Millions Drawing

LOUISVILLE, Ohio — A lottery player in Louisville recently won $40,000 in the Mega Millions drawing held on Tuesday, August 20. The winning ticket was purchased at West Main Drive Thru, located at 1616 W Main Street.

The lucky winner matched four out of the five white balls, along with the Mega Ball, securing an initial prize of $10,000. Thanks to the Megaplier option added to her ticket, which was auto-picked, her winnings were multiplied four times, bringing her total prize to $40,000.

The winning numbers for the August 20 drawing were 5, 20, 26, 49, 51, with the Mega Ball number 24.

The next Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Friday, August 23, at 11 p.m., with a jackpot estimated at $527 million.
