MEDINA, OH — A lucky Ohio Lottery player won $50,000 after playing the Hit it Big scratch-off ticket purchased in Medina.
The winning ticket was sold at Giant Eagle #5839, located at 870 N Court St. After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 28 percent, the winner will receive approximately $36,000.
Hit it Big is a $10 scratch-off game featuring a top prize of $40,000 a year for 25 years. As of February 14, two top prizes remain available, along with several other prize levels.
