NORTH STONINGTON, CT – A lucky lottery player claimed a $50,000 prize on the “$50,000! Cash Blast” game, according to Connecticut Lottery data released Tuesday.

The winning ticket was sold at Amran Food Mart LLC in North Stonington. The Connecticut Lottery did not release the identity of the winner.

“$50,000! Cash Blast” is one of several instant win games offering mid-tier prizes. The game has continued to gain popularity among players seeking big returns from lower-priced tickets.

Winners typically have 180 days from the date of the ticket purchase to claim their prize.

Amran Food Mart is now among a growing number of Connecticut retailers credited with selling major prize-winning tickets in 2025.
