Lucky ticket sold in Warren County lands $1.7 million lottery prize

TRENTON, N.J. — A Warren County lottery player has claimed a $1,699,120 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot after purchasing the winning ticket at Krauser’s Food Store in Washington Borough.

The jackpot-winning numbers from the Jan. 28 drawing were 11, 18, 22, 35, and 45, with an Xtra of 4 and a Bullseye of 45. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The winner, who has played the lottery daily since the 1980s, said they plan to continue playing despite the big win. “I still feel lucky,” the player said while claiming the prize.

This marks the sixth Jersey Cash 5 jackpot of the year and the second major win in Warren County. So far, more than 80 New Jersey Lottery players have won prizes exceeding $10,000 in 2025, outpacing last year’s totals.
