Lucky Wins Across New York in Recent Powerball Draw

NEWBURGH, NY – The New York Lottery disclosed that three third-prize-winning tickets from the Powerball drawing on Thursday were sold across different locations in New York. Each ticket is valued at $50,000. Outlets in Newburgh, Seneca Falls, and Southampton each distributed one of these fortunate tickets.

Smokes 4 Less, situated at 59 North Plank Rd in Newburgh; Wolffy’s Grill & Marina at 2943 Lower Lake Rd in Seneca Falls; and Speedway at 816 County Rd 39 in Southampton are the retailers that sold these winning tickets. Powerball numbers are selected from a pool of 69, and a red Power Ball is drawn from a set of 26. The drawings are scheduled at 10:59 PM every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

The New York Lottery remains the largest and most profitable lottery in North America, with contributions of $3.7 billion during the 2022-2023 fiscal year aimed at supporting education within the state.
