Woodbridge, VA – Evening traffic along Richmond Highway took an unsettling turn Thursday when a man was arrested after exposing himself and making lewd gestures in the busy corridor, police said.

The incident happened around 5:53 p.m. in the 13900 block of Richmond Hwy. Officers said they arrived to find the suspect, later identified as Daniel Antonio Rivas Solis, 28, of Bladensburg, Md., intoxicated at the scene.

Police said the investigation revealed that Rivas Solis was seen exposing himself in public before officers intervened. He was taken into custody without incident.

Rivas Solis is charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication. His court date is pending, and his bond status was not immediately available.
