Man Arrested for Attempted Homicide in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, Md. – Authorities have arrested Christopher Holland, 24, of Baltimore, in connection with a shooting that took place in the Southern District on July 10.

Detectives determined that Holland shot a 26-year-old male victim multiple times after breaking into a home in the 1200 block of Sargeant Street. The motive for the shooting is believed to be domestic-related.

On July 16, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Holland and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

On July 10, at approximately 9:58 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to a shooting report at the 1200 block of Sargeant Street. They found a 26-year-old male inside a home with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
