HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit has recently arrested Emil Figueroa-Blanco, 22, in relation to a sexual assault case in North Bergen. The incident occurred on Sunday, June 4, at a Tonnele Avenue motel.
The 22-year-old victim encountered Figueroa-Blanco, a West New York resident, through acquaintances before the assault took place.
Figueroa-Blanco faces one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault, a first-degree crime under N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(7). He was apprehended at the Hudson County Correctional Facility, where he was held on unrelated charges. He remains in custody, pending a detention motion.
