Man Arrested in Connection with Multiple Burglaries in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man has been arrested in connection with a series of burglaries targeting businesses in the Third District, authorities confirmed.

The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Samora Samson Buchanan of Olney, Maryland, allegedly broke into closed businesses located in the 1500 block of U Street, Northwest, on three separate occasions. Once inside, the suspect stole property and fled the scene.

The incidents occurred on August 31 at approximately 3:59 a.m., on September 11 at around 1:03 a.m., and again on September 21 at 2:53 a.m. Buchanan was arrested on Saturday and charged with three counts of Burglary Two.
