Man Assaulted on Jerome Avenue

Bronx, NY – A 62-year-old man was assaulted inside 2130 Jerome Avenue on Wednesday at approximately 2:20 PM. An unknown individual approached the victim and struck him in the face, causing the man to lose consciousness.

Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the injured victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital for treatment.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. He is described as a male with a dark complexion, slim build, and dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, and white sneakers.

The police are currently investigating the incident and seeking information from the public to identify and locate the suspect. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the authorities.
