The hunt is on for the duo who bolted down Ogden Avenue after the brutal clash.

Bronx, NY – A 39-year-old man was assaulted inside a building on Ogden Avenue Saturday afternoon after a heated dispute with two unidentified individuals turned violent, police said.

The victim was inside 1049 Ogden Ave. around 2:45 p.m. when a man and a woman confronted him. The argument escalated quickly, leading the male suspect to punch the victim repeatedly in the face while the female suspect struck him with a cart, authorities said.

The pair fled on foot, heading south on Ogden Avenue.

The victim suffered a minor head laceration and body bruising. He was transported by EMS to BronxCare Health System, where he was listed in stable condition.

Police described one of the suspects as a man with a dark complexion who was last seen wearing a white shirt, tan sweatpants, and black-and-gray sneakers.

Investigators have not released a description of the female suspect.
