Queens, NY – The New York City Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in connection with an assault on a 66-year-old man that occurred in the Rockaway Beach neighborhood of Queens.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened at approximately 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, inside a building at 70-20 Rockaway Beach Boulevard within the confines of the 100th Precinct.
Victim struck with purse and bitten
Investigators said an unidentified individual approached the 66-year-old victim and struck him with a purse before punching him in the face. The suspect then allegedly bit the victim’s left arm before fleeing the scene on foot.
Police said the suspect was last seen traveling eastbound on Rockaway Beach Boulevard. The victim’s condition has not been released.
