NYPD Seeks Suspect in Public Lewdness Incident on ‘4’ Train in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a public lewdness incident that took place on a northbound ‘4’ train within the 40th Precinct and Transit District 11.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Friday, August 23, 2024, at approximately 10:01 p.m. when a 20-year-old woman was aboard the train near the Grand Concourse station. An unidentified male sitting across from her exposed his genitals and performed a lewd act. The suspect exited the train at the East 149th Street and Grand Concourse station and fled on foot.

No injuries were reported.
