Man fatally shot on Indian Head Highway in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. — A man was fatally shot Saturday evening in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway, according to Prince George’s County Police.

Officers responded to the area around 8:20 p.m. and found an adult male outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are working to identify suspects and determine a motive. The victim’s identity has not been released, and no arrests have been announced.

“Detectives are on scene working to establish suspect(s) and a motive in this case,” police said in a statement on social media late Saturday night.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Prince George’s County Crime Solvers or submit tips anonymously through the P3 Tips app.

The investigation remains active as police gather evidence and seek witnesses.
