Man fatally stabbed in broad daylight on Busy Brooklyn Street

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 44-year-old man was fatally stabbed in the chest Saturday afternoon on Fulton Street, prompting a homicide investigation by the NYPD.

Police responded to a 911 call around 4:25 p.m. and arrived at 1567 Fulton Street, located within the 79th Precinct, where they found the victim with a stab wound to his chest.

Emergency medical personnel transported the man to Interfaith Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead, officials said.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification, police confirmed.

As of Saturday evening, no arrests had been made in connection with the incident. Authorities have not released any details about a possible suspect or motive.
