Odenton, MD — Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a fatal shooting after officers found an adult man with gunshot wounds in a residential neighborhood in Odenton on Saturday night.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, officers responded at approximately 8:50 p.m. to the 500 block of Williamsburg Lane for a report of a shooting that had just occurred.

When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on a sidewalk within the neighborhood. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives investigating homicide

Anne Arundel County homicide detectives responded to the scene and have taken over the investigation, which remains active.

Police have not released the identity of the victim or provided information about a possible suspect or motive.
