Man found shot and killed in D.C. Alley

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Northeast Washington on Sunday.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 400 block of 50th Street, Northeast, at approximately 8:25 a.m. Upon arrival, police found an adult male victim unconscious in an alley with a gunshot wound.

DC Fire and EMS arrived on the scene but found no signs of life, and the man was pronounced dead. Authorities later identified the victim as 44-year-old James Price, who had no fixed address.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information about the case to contact the department. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest and conviction.
