Man in Critical Condition After Shooting on Brown Street

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A man is in critical condition following a shooting early Sunday morning on the 4300 block of Brown Street. Police from the 16th District responded to a report of a “person with a gun” at approximately 1:38 a.m. on Sept. 15.

When officers arrived, they discovered the victim on the street suffering from gunshot wounds to his stomach and left buttock. He was transported by police to Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition and immediately underwent surgery.

The victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed, and the investigation is ongoing.
