PENN HILLS, PA – A shooting incident in Penn Hills has left an adult male in critical condition. The incident occurred at around 11:37 a.m. on Sunday in the 400 block of Elias Drive.

After receiving a 911 call, first responders arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case.

Initial findings suggest the shooting stemmed from a physical altercation between the victim and his girlfriend. Detectives are now working closely with the District Attorney’s Office to determine appropriate charges.
