Homicide detectives notified after victim found with multiple gunshot wounds on Russell Street
BALTIMORE, MD – An unidentified man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on a Baltimore street before sunrise Wednesday, sending him to a hospital in a condition serious enough for homicide detectives to be notified.
Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1500 block of Russell Street at approximately 5:20 a.m. following a report of a shooting, according to Baltimore Police.
Officers arrived and found an unidentified adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
Police did not provide a specific description of the man’s condition. The department said homicide detectives were notified because of the victim’s condition.
Officials have not announced that the victim died.
