Man robbed at knifepoint outside Bronx business

BRONX, N.Y. — A 27-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint late Saturday night in front of a commercial building on East 170th Street, according to the NYPD.

Police said the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. outside 134 East 170 Street, where the victim was approached by an unidentified man who claimed he had a knife and demanded the victim’s belongings.

The suspect then forcibly took $1,000 in cash, jewelry, and an iPhone before fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported, and the victim did not require medical attention.

Authorities described the suspect as a male with a light complexion, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers.

The investigation is ongoing, and police have not announced any arrests as of Monday.
