Man shot multiple times in Baltimore as police launch investigation

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 59-year-old man was shot multiple times Tuesday night in Southwest Baltimore and is now recovering in stable condition, according to police.

Officers responded around 8:52 p.m. on March 25 to the 500 block of Thornfield Road for reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Detectives from the Southwest District responded to the scene and are leading the ongoing investigation.
