Man shot and killed in Chesapeake

Chesapeake, VA – The Chesapeake Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of 31-year-old Taquam Worsley. On Saturday at approximately 4:50 PM, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 3100 block of Border Rd.

While en route, they were informed that an individual had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with serious injuries who was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The case is currently under active investigation. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Crime Line or submit a tip online or via the P3TIPS app.

Individuals providing valuable information that leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,500. Callers can remain anonymous and are not required to testify in court.
