PITTSBURGH, PA – The details are light at this time, but the Pittsburgh Police Department is investigating a homicide in the 500 block of Maytide Street just before 9 p.m. Sunday. According to police, arriving units located a male victim inside a residence who had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced deceased by medics a short time later. Detectives from Major Crimes and the Crime Scene Unit are investigating.
