OCEAN CITY, MD – Ocean City police report that a 28-year-old male was shot and transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries early Monday morning.
Early Monday morning, the Ocean City Police Department was at the scene of a shooting in the area of N. Division Street and Atlantic Ave on the boardwalk that occurred around 2:30 a.m.
“One victim has been transported to the hospital by Ocean City EMS,” police said. “The preliminary investigation indicates the shooting occurred after a brief altercation. There is no threat to the public at this time. This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
