Man shot in head killed at Panamanian Day Parade in New York City

NEW YORK, NY – A man was shot and killed Friday night at the Brooklyn Panamanian Pre-Independence Day Parade and Festival in Flatbush. The New York City Police Department said the man was shot in the head at the intersection of Albermarle Road and Bedford Avenue at around 10:30 pm.

According to police, a 40-year-old male victim was taken to Kings County Hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

At this time, no arrests have been made.
