Suspects Sought After Teen Shot in Head, Killed in the Bronx

The New York City Police Department is investigating a Bronx shooting.

On Monday, at approximately 9:08 PM, police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot in the vicinity of East 162 Street, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct. Upon arrival, officers found an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS transported the male to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased on June 18, 2024.

The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Alberto Roque of 3103 Third Avenue, Bronx, NY.

There have been no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
