Man Shot Multiple Times Killed in D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times and killed in Southeast, D.C. Wednesday afternoon. Detectives from the D.C. MPD are investigating the homicide.

Officers arrived at a local hospital at about 12:12 p.m. following a report of an adult male with gunshot wounds. Lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, and the victim died. Detectives determined that the shooting happened at the 2300 block of Ainger Place, and the victim was brought to the hospital in a privately owned vehicle.

The deceased has been named as 25-year-old Jamal Walton from Northwest, DC.
